PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder-compact magnetic core which enables the effective reduction in iron loss, a reactor arranged by such a powder-compact magnetic core, a soft magnetic powder, and a method for producing such a powder-compact magnetic core.SOLUTION: A powder-compact magnetic core is produced by: mixing soft magnetic powder with a binding insulative resin to prepare a mixture; molding, by compression, the mixture into a powder compact of a predetermined shape; and performing a thermal treatment on the powder compact. In the powder-compact magnetic core, an insulator layer is formed around the soft magnetic powder by using the binding insulative resin as a raw material. The binding insulative resin is a mixture of an isocyanurate-based silane coupling agent and a silicone resin. The amount of addition of the isocyanurate-based silane coupling agent is preferably 0.025-1.0 wt.% to the amount of the soft magnetic powder. |
