[Class 46] A filter paper is made by folding a sectorially - shaped sheet 1 of filtering material about a radius 4 and securing overlapping marginal portions 2 extending along subtending radii 3 by adhesive, stitching, crimping, embossing, or perforating. As shown, the portions 2 are secured by two rows 5 of crimping. The secured portions are folded along the line 3 and appear on the outer surface of the filter paper when in use. In some cases, the filter is made from two or more sheets of superimposed material. |
