PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium information registration system and the like which can improve accuracy in detecting the number of colonies, prevent erroneous detection for accurate detection, alleviate load of image processing, and provide a medium image which are highly flexible in use.SOLUTION: A hygiene control system S comprises: a plurality of portable communication terminal devices 10 which are used in registering medium information of each film type medium 60; an administrator terminal device 20; and a server device 40. The server device 40 includes a configuration comprising the steps of: extracting a medium extraction image from a captured image transmitted from the portable communication terminal device 10 while keeping a position of each pixel constituting the captured image on the medium image; detecting colonies grew in a specimen from the extracted medium extraction image; and registering the medium information at least including the number of colonies into a database. |
