PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture of a liquid-cooled jacket of high flatness by an easy friction agitation junction.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method includes an installation step, a friction agitation junction step, and a correction step. A support base 70 has a joint body support base 71 with the top opened to store a joint body 30 to form a joint body support face 73 consisting of a stepped bottom face lower by one step from the surface of the support base 70 in the joint body support base 71. The correction step is characterized in that a joint body 1' is disposed on the joint body support face 73 so that a sealant 30 may direct downward to support the peripheral edge part of the joint body 1' from below with the joint body support face 73, and in that a center 20 of a jacket main body 10 where diagonal lines cross is press-corrected by pressing downward until a displacement amount of the center 20 reaches a numerical value predetermined by a test, thereby turning the joint body 1' back to a flat state by spring back when the pressing force in press correction is released. |
