The sole has a heel (50) which has bowl (51) or an edge having a form corresponding to the heel of a foot. Underneath the bowl and or the edge of heel are arranged side panels. The side panels are connected to a separate rear side panel (70). A tension member (53) is provided which connects to the side panel with another side panel or the bowl and or connects to the edge of heel. The bowl and or the edge of heel, the side panels and the tension are manufactured together as one piece. The heel part is connected to a lateral and a medial side panel by the tension member. The side panels have a recess.
