Disclosed are a mobile terminal and a control method of a mobile terminal. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the mobile terminal can simply and conveniently add an event, which a user intends to add, to a scheduler by providing a window for recommending an event which can be added to the scheduler, together with the scheduler. The mobile terminal includes: a touch screen; a memory grouping at least one event and storing the same; and a control unit executing a scheduler application to display the scheduler on the touch screen, displaying the window for recommending the at least one event on the touch screen such that at least a portion of the window overlaps the scheduler, and registering a certain event in a certain schedule of the scheduler.
