PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified conjugated diene-based polymer composition having excellent low-hysteresis loss properties and wet skid resistance, and further having excellent balance of these properties, and excellent balance of abrasion resistance and breaking strength; and to provide a modified conjugated diene-based polymer constituting the composition.SOLUTION: The method for producing the modified conjugated diene-based polymer includes a step for obtaining a conjugated diene-based polymer having active terminals by adding a hydrocarbon solvent, an alkali metal-based initiator and/or an alkaline earth metal-based initiator, a conjugated diene compound or the conjugated diene compound and an aromatic vinyl compound to at least one polymerizing vessel, and a modification reaction step for reacting the active terminals of the conjugated diene-based polymer with a modifier (A) and/or a modifier (B) by continuously adding the modifier (A) having four or more of alkoxy groups in total bonded to silyl groups, and one or more nitrogen atoms, and the modifier (B) having two or three of the alkoxy groups in total bonded to the silyl groups and one or more nitrogen atoms to the resultant product. |
