The present invention relates to a light source cooler, particularly a flat light source cooler of a motor vehicle headlight, mounted in a light source (1) holder (2) arranged in a heat-conducting cooling monoblock (11), provided with cooling elements for dissipation of heat, wherein according to the resent invention further provided with channels (14, 17, 18, 19) for the supply of a cooling medium from a cooling medium source (21) to a cooling first side (3) of the holder (2) of flat shape, wherein on the opposite second side (4) thereof (4) the light source (1) is mounted. The main channel (14) is arranged in the direction of the cooling medium flow substantially parallel to the cooling monoblock (11) longitudinal axis (11) and at least one auxiliary channel (17, 18, 19) opens into the main channel (14) below the first side (3) of the light source (1) holder (2). Preferably, two auxiliary channels (17, 18) can open opposite to each other or side-by-side below the light source (1) holder (2) first side (3). Preferably, the auxiliary channels (17, 18) can be at least partially removable covers, provided with internal guide and cooling fins (23, 24) or external cooling fins. |
