FIELD: construction.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and can be applied to foundations of tanks for storage of oil and its processing products under conditions of seasonal frosts and permanently frozen soils in Far North. Foundation of reservoir represents prepared soil in form of pad made of medium-grained sand and artificial additive. Artificial additive represents disperse heat-insulating material in form of granulated foamed polystyrene in amount of up to 10 % of foundation pad volume.EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of immediate heat exchange between reservoir bottom and seasonally frozen or permanently frozen soils Far North conditions, preventing or reducing thawing of the latter and loss of their firmness.1 cl
