PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give a function of regulating excessive deflection of a tongue piece and a function of regulating entry of a lance together to a female terminal fitting.SOLUTION: An aperture 30 is formed in the external wall 12 at the rectangular tube portion 5 of a female terminal fitting F, and a tongue piece 11 is exposed through the aperture 30. At the opening edge of the aperture 30, a front side engaging protrusion 27 is formed and engages with a lance 25. At the rectangular tube portion 5, a regulation part 31 is provided on the outside of the tongue piece 11 in the direction of deflection. The regulation part 31 can abut against the lance 25, and regulates deep entry of the lance 25 into the aperture 30. The regulation part 31 can also abut against the tongue piece 11, and can regulate excessive deflection in addition to protection of the tongue piece 11. |
