PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cleaning a band saw, which enables efficient removal of green honeycomb molding chippings adhering to a band saw blade.SOLUTION: An annular band saw, which is attached to a cutting device for cutting a green honeycomb molding, has a blade provided on an end surface. A method for cleaning the band saw after use for cutting of the green honeycomb molding containing ceramic material powder includes a cleaning step of cleaning the band saw blade by bringing it into contact with a cleaning fluid containing water, and a removal step of removing the cleaning fluid adhering to the band saw. |
