PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve abrasion resistance of a straight tube part of an exterior-protective member for a harness, consisting of a bellows tube part and the straight tube part, and to at least maintain a current status of rigidity of the straight tube part or improve the rigidity.SOLUTION: An exterior-protective member 1 for a harness consists of a synthetic resin bellows tube part 2 and a straight tube part 3. A plurality of annular shallow grooves 4 are formed in parallel on an outer periphery of the straight tube part, and an inner peripheral surface 5 of the straight tube part is formed to be flat or substantially flat without any annular groove part. An inner peripheral surface 10 of the bellows tube part 2 and the inner peripheral surface 5 of the straight tube part 3 are straight connected to each other without a step difference. A depth H1 of the groove part 4 is regulated by the range of 5 to 20% of the plate thickness T of the straight tube part 3. An extrusion speed of a molten resin material from a nozzle 34 of a resin extruder 31 is kept constant, and a moving speed in the resin extrusion direction of a mold 35a forming the bellows tube part 2 is regulated to be quicker while a moving speed in the resin extrusion direction of a mold forming the straight tube part 3 is regulated to be slower. |
