The invention relates to an installation and a method for obtaining hydrogen from a hydrogen-containing medium. The installation 10 comprises a first and a second electrode assembly 16, 18 between which a gap 20 is formed, through which a hydrogen-containing medium is conducted. A voltage source 26 generates a high voltage between the first and second electrode assembly 16, 18 in order to generate in said gap an electric field which is suitable for separating hydrogen from molecules of the hydrogen-containing medium. The first and/or the second electrode assembly 16, 18 comprise at least one electrode 22, 24, which has a rounded, in particular spherical, shape or a section having such a shape. |
