The present invention relates to a system having an event notifying function in a virtual desktop in a virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and a virtual desktop server therefor. The system having an event notifying function in a virtual desktop in a virtual desktop infrastructure according to the present invention comprises: a virtual desktop server including a virtual desktop (VD) having an agent for detecting an occurrence of an event, and a hypervisor for operating the virtual desktop; and a user terminal including a display unit for displaying data and a control unit for receiving event information detected through a virtual channel formed between the control unit and the virtual desktop server and for displaying the received event information on the display unit. The system having an event notifying function in a virtual desktop in a virtual desktop infrastructure according to the present invention can recognize an event in real time and accurately manage an event occurred in a virtual desktop.
