PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor capable of reducing the weight and cost by using an aluminum wire for a stator coil, and maintaining high performance, and an air-blower including the same.SOLUTION: An electric motor 2 includes: a stator core 16 having a stator coil (A phase winding 8 and B phase winding 9) wound therewith; a stator 20 having a terminal block 19 including a metal terminal 18 to which the terminals of leader lines 8a and 9a of the stator coil are connected; a rotator to be driven to rotate; and bearing part 14a and 14b for rotatably supporting the rotator. An aluminum wire is used for at least a part of the stator coil. The terminal of the aluminum wire and the metal terminal 18 are connected by soldering, and an insulation layer 15 made of resin having two or more layers is formed at the connection part 27 for covering the whole of the connection part 27. In the insulation layer 15, a low viscosity polyolefin resin is applied on the connection part 27 for forming an innermost layer 31, and a high viscosity epoxy resin is applied on the innermost layer for forming an outermost layer 33. |
