The invention relates to an extrusion press for the continuous production of open or closed profiled sections from an extrusion material, preferably a magnesium alloy, by the effect of a pressing force on a ram and hence on the extrusion material in the recipient, wherein the extrusion material is molded into a profiled section by means of a die. The extrusion press (1) comprises at least two recipients (2) which can each be independently subjected to a pressing force by a ram (3), and the outlets (5) of the recipients (2) are connected to the die (6) by a connecting block (4). |
