ENDOSPERM-SPECIFIC EXPRESSION PROMOTER DERIVED FROM ORYZA SATIVA AND USE THEREOF

The present invention relates to an endosperm-specific expression promoter derived from Oryza sativa and a use of the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to an Oryza sativa nuclear factor Y 26 (OsNFY26) promoter for specifically inducing the expression of a target gene in endosperm and aleurone layer tissue of an aged seed; a recombinant expression vector including the promoter; a method for producing a transformed plant by using the recombinant expression vector; and a plant transformed by the method. According to the present invention, by using an OsNFY26 promoter specifically expressed in Oryza sativa, a target gene is adjusted to mainly express in endosperm and aleurone layer tissue of an aged seed. Accordingly, the OsNFY26 promoter can be used not only in improving plant traits such as seed specific material production, quiescence, germination, and growth adjustment but also in analyzing the functions of a target gene in an aged seed.
