PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent buckling of a sheet in sheet skew correction.SOLUTION: A second skew correction part 120 includes: a feed roll 130 for feeding out paper; a guide part 140 for moving the sheet fed out by the feed roll 130 with its tip in contact therewith, to guide the paper while correcting skew at the tip of the paper; and a receiving roll 150 for receiving and conveying the paper which has been conveyed by the feed roll 130 and skew-corrected at the paper tip by the guide part 140. The second skew correction part further includes an upper chute 182 and a lower chute 192 arranged opposite each other across a first conveyance path R1 located between the feed roll 130 and the receiving roll 150. A regulation part 180 for regulating displacement of the paper is arranged. A gap G between the upper chute 182 and the lower chute 192 is adjusted in accordance with the type of paper to be conveyed. |
