PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display device capable of suppressing deterioration in display quality and of achieving high definition.SOLUTION: An organic EL display device comprises: an insulation substrate; a switching element located on the insulation substrate; a pixel electrode electrically connected with the switching element; a frame-like rib covering an edge of the pixel electrode; a light-emitting layer located on the pixel electrode; a common electrode located on the light-emitting layer; a first protective layer formed of an inorganic material, covering the common electrode, and extending on the rib; a color filter located on the first protective layer at an inner side surrounded by the rib; and a second protective layer formed of the inorganic material, covering the color filter, and laminated on the first protective layer at an upper part of the rib. |
