The present invention relates to bacteriophage Siphoviridae family SAP4 (Accession No. KACC97023P) having host susceptibility against Staphylococcus aureus, and to a composition comprising the same. The bacteriophage of the present invention shows excellent killing activities against both methicillin-sensitive Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA) and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), unlike a conventional bacteriophage having weak bacteriolytic activity, thereby being able to be effectively utilized as a bio-control agent.
