PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toll collection system capable of preventing an electric wave interference between a second antenna device and a recovery antenna device and accurately communicating with an on-vehicle device.SOLUTION: The toll collection system comprises: a first antenna device for communicating with an on-vehicle device mounted in a vehicle, the first antenna device being installed on the entrance side of a toll collection lane ; a start control device for performing control to allow or prohibit passing of the vehicle, the start control device being installed on the downstream side of the first antenna device; a second antenna device for communicating with the on-vehicle device mounted in the vehicle, the second antenna device being installed on the downstream side of the start control device; a recovery antenna device for communicating with the on-vehicle device mounted in the vehicle when a communication between the first antenna device and the on-vehicle device abnormally ended, the recovery antenna device being installed on the upstream side of the control device; toll collection processing means for performing toll collection processing through a communication between the first antenna device or the recovery antenna device and the on-vehicle device and controlling the start control device according to the result of the toll collection processing; and control means for managing and controlling an operation timing of the recovery antenna device on the basis of an operation state of the second antenna device and a travelling state of the vehicle on the toll collection lane. |
