PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door lock device which can be arranged compactly inside a rear door.SOLUTION: A door lock device 1 is for locking a rear door 53 to a vehicle 50 whose doorway 51 is opened/closed by biparting type front and rear doors 52, 53, and comprises: an idle swing mechanism which switches connection and non-connection states of an inner handle provided in the rear door 53 and latch units 58, 59 capable of holding the rear door 53 close to the vehicle 50; a base member to which the idle swing mechanism is disposed; and an operation member which abuts against the front door 52 and operates in conjunction with opening and closing of the front door 52 to switch connection and non-connection states of the idle swing mechanism. The door lock device 1 is disposed at the front end of the rear door 53, and the operation member which comes into direct contact with the front door 52 is movably disposed to the base member. |
