PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of improving heating efficiency of a nip member.SOLUTION: A fixing device comprises: a flexible cylindrical member; a heating element which is disposed inside the cylindrical member, and emits radiant heat; a nip member (a nip plate 130) which is in slide contact with an inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical member; a reflection member (a reflective plate 150) which is in contact with the nip member, and is formed so as to cover the heating element, and reflects the radiant heat toward the nip member; and a backup member which nips the cylindrical member between the nip member and itself to form a nip. The nip member and the reflection member are intermittently in contact with each other along an axial direction of the cylindrical member in image formation width. |
