摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel gallium phthalocyanine dimer crystal which avoids the generation of an abnormal image such as a residual image during long-term repeated use and realizes stable sensitivity behavior and charging characteristics and a method for producing the same, and to provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor containing the gallium phthalocyanine dimer crystal, and an image forming method, an image forming apparatus and a process cartridge for an image forming apparatus using the electrophotographic photoreceptor.SOLUTION: The gallium phthalocyanine dimer crystal shows main diffraction peaks at Bragg angles (2&thetas;±0.3°) of 6.9° and 15.5° in an X-ray diffraction spectrum with CuKα radiation.
