Provided is a heat pump device (40) configured to collect heat both from outdoor air and another heat source. When the capacity is insufficient in a single operation, a controller (30) determines whether to switch the single operation to a simultaneous operation by comparing a temperature of a heat source to be added and a current refrigerant temperature with each other. In a heating operation, the controller (30) switches the single operation to the simultaneous operation when the temperature of the heat source to be added is higher than the current refrigerant temperature, and continues the single operation when the temperature of the heat source to be added is equal to or lower than the current refrigerant temperature. As another determination method, in the heating operation, the controller (30) estimates a refrigerant temperature to be measured after the addition of a heat source, and the controller (30) switches the single operation to the simultaneous operation when the estimated refrigerant temperature is higher than the current refrigerant temperature, and continues the single operation when the estimated refrigerant temperature is equal to or lower than the current refrigerant temperature. |
