In the present invention, there is disclosed a method of making permanent decorative sand images of multicolored sands dyed with natural as well as artificially prepared dyes for both interiors and exteriors, wherein the method is characterized in that fist an adhesive layer is applied to the upper side of a supporting plate and then a continuous layer of dry loose sand is distributed thereon. The surface is mechanically treated and compacted by rolling, stabilized by fixation, whereupon after drying, adhesive and other layers of the dry loose sand of a corresponding color and grain size or mixtures thereof are successively applied to the individual partial areas according to a required pattern. After filling all the partial areas of the image being created, after adjustment of lines, contours optionally retouch, a final surface treatment of the sand image is carried out. |
