FIELD: technological processes.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing electrically insulating polymer composition based on peroxide polyethylene. Method for preparing the composition is performed by sequential introduction in the process of mixing polyethylene, organic peroxide, dibutyl phthalate and terpineol. Presence of dibutyl phthalate and terpineol in the composition enables as homogenised polymer composition, and control the process of decomposition of organic peroxides, which provides uniform formation of transverse bonds in the polymer system during hot shaping.EFFECT: obtained composition has high electrophysical and physical-mechanical and thermophysical properties.1 cl, 1 tbl
