A paper currency receiving device, comprising: a support frame (9) used for erecting subsequent parts; a pair of rolling wheels (6) which are positioned at an inlet of the paper currency receiving device and used for inputting paper currencies (7) in a pinching manner; a hot wheel (1) which is erected on the support frame (9) through a rotating shaft (12), wherein the hot wheel (1) is joined with the pair of rolling wheels (6) and is used for delivering the paper currencies (7) input from the pair of rolling wheels (6) in the manner of high-speed rotation with the paper currencies (7); and a supporting plate (5) which is positioned below the hot wheel (1) and is for bearing the paper currencies (7) delivered from the hot wheel (1), wherein the supporting plate (5) can move up and down under the action of a transmission mechanism to adjust the size of a paper currency receiving space. The paper currency receiving device further comprises a hot wheel floating control device, which is used for controlling the upward and downward floating of the hot wheel (1) and further controlling the downward movement of the supporting plate (5) according to the extent of upward floating of the hot wheel (1) to enlarge the paper currency receiving space. |
