The present invention relates to a dowel to manufacture a mold including a cap-shaped dowel body and a flange extended from an open end of the dowel body in an outer side. An alignment mark is formed on an outer surface of the flange to align the flange along a guide line previously marked on a surface of a surface plate before joining the dowel to the surface plate. According to the present invention, the dowel to manufacture the mold is capable of simplifying a process for marking a guide line on a surface of the surface plate into a single process by forming the alignment mark enabling alignment of the dowel flange along the guide line previously marked on the surface of the surface plate. Accordingly, an effect of remarkably facilitating a work of joining the dowel to the surface plate within a short time when compared with an existing technology is obtained. |
