The present invention provides a connector device with an improved hold-down structure which includes: a receptacle which includes a receptacle insulator, receptacle contacts assembled with the receptacle insulator at predetermined pitches, and receptacle hold-down structures installed at both ends of the receptacle insulator in a longitudinal direction thereof; and a plug which includes a plug insulator with a body to be inserted into the receptacle insulator; plug contacts assembled with the plug insulator at pitches corresponding to the receptacle contacts; and plug hold-down structures installed at both ends of the plug insulator in a longitudinal direction thereof. When the receptacle and the plug are combined, the receptacle contacts and the plug contacts come in contact with each other one-to-one, and the receptacle hold-down structure is engaged with the plug hold-down structure. The receptacle hold-down structure includes: a supporting plate having a ㄷ-shaped body which receives the plug hold-down structure; and a clip portion which is integrated with the supporting plate, is formed to correspond to three faces of the ㄷ-shaped body, and is combined with the receptacle insulator. |
