PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve correction accuracy of a density.SOLUTION: A printing apparatus includes: forming a first pattern with a plurality of patches arranged along a predetermined direction, the first pattern having a first ink ejection amount increased from one end side to the other end side in the predetermined direction; forming a second pattern with the plurality of patches arranged along the predetermined direction, the second pattern having a second ink ejection amount increased from one end side to the other end side in the predetermined direction and arranged with the first pattern in a cross direction intersecting with the predetermined direction, wherein the first and second patterns are formed on a medium; making a density sensor read each patch of the first and second patterns; and correcting the first ink ejection amount from a head based on results of reading the first and second patterns. |
