Disclosed are a display apparatus, Shutter glasses and a control method thereof. The method of controlling shutter glasses for a display apparatus includes: synchronizing clocks of the display apparatus and shutter glasses for communicating with the shutter glasses; generating drive timing information for driving shutters of the shutter glasses from the synchronized clocks and a frame sync signal of a displayed image; and receiving from the shutter glasses a scanning message for pairing with the shutter glasses, transmitting to the shutter glasses a response message for pairing, receiving from the shutter glasses an acknowledge message to the response message for pairing, and transmitting a glasses control message, comprising the drive timing information, to the shutter glasses. |
