The burner (1) has a burner lid (3) and a burner head base body (20) of a burner head forming a cylinder shape in an upper region. A flame discharge region (21) is attached to the base body and includes an upwardly tapered conical outer cross-section. An outer side (200) of the base body is vertically aligned. An outer diameter of the base body corresponds to an outer diameter of the burner lid. Channels (27) are provided in the discharge region. The channels are inclined in a perpendicular top view on an upper side of the burner head towards a direction of the diameter of the burner head.
