摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue a print job, while controlling influence of abnormal conditions of an ejection mechanism.SOLUTION: A droplet ejection apparatus has an ejection head that includes a plurality of ejection mechanisms containing a driving element that generates pressure to eject the droplet from a nozzle and a preliminary driving element that works for preliminary of the driving element. In the droplet ejection apparatus, the ejection head has: an ejection right or wrong data acquisition means for acquiring an ejection right or wrong data that shows whether the droplet is ejected for each of a plurality of ejection mechanisms; an abnormal condition determination means determines whether the driving element of the ejection mechanisms is abnormal, when the droplet is ejected based on the A-th (A is a natural number) ejection right or wrong data; and an abnormal condition coping means that makes the preliminary driving element eject the droplet instead of the driving element in the abnormal ejection mechanism which is the ejection mechanism where the driving element is determined as abnormal when the droplet is ejected based on the (A+B)-th (B is a natural number) ejection right or wrong data in the print job that is same with that of the A-th ejection right or wrong data. is determined as abnormal, eject the droplet, and makes a normal ejection mechanism eject the droplet instead of the abnormal ejection mechanism, when it is shown not to make the normal ejection mechanism that is the ejection mechanism not determined as abnormal, eject the droplets.
