The present invention relates in a first aspect to a protective garment manufactured from a cut and/or slash resistant fabric, wherein the protective garment is locally provided with two or more attachment elements on zones in need of protection, which attachment elements are suitable for removably attaching a stab resistant protective pad to the protective garment.
