Provided are a user input method using a mobile device and a mobile device. A method for the mobile device providing a preset service according to a user input of bending the mobile device includes the steps of: receiving a first user input of bending the mobile device as much as a first threshold; photographing an object of a real space through a camera included in the mobile device when the first user input is received; displaying an object image of the photographed object on a screen of the mobile device; and providing a service related to the captured object image among services of an application installed in the mobile device.
