PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency oscillator adapted for anti-phase or in-phase oscillation that reduces phase noise.SOLUTION: A first active circuit 11 and a second active circuit 12 have the same configuration. A transmission line resonator 2 is a transmission line resonator producing an integral multiple of a substantially quarter wavelength at an oscillation frequency. A first terminal 41 of the first active circuit 11 is connected to a first junction 21 spaced by &Dgr;L from a short circuit point of the transmission line resonator 2, a first terminal 42 of the second active circuit 12 is connected to a second junction 22 spaced by &Dgr;L from the short circuit point of the transmission line resonator 2, and the first junction 21 and the second junction 22 are anti-phase or in-phase points with respect to the oscillation frequency. |
