PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve reduction in exposure while shortening the scan time in track synchronization helical shuttle scan.SOLUTION: An X-ray diagnostic apparatus of an embodiment includes: a determination part 12a for determining whether or not a rotation angle of an X-ray tube is within a track synchronization angle allowable range in which helical tracks of the X-ray tube coincide with each other in an outgoing path and a return path when a movement of a top plate relative to the X-ray tube is stopped; and a stopping part 12b for continuing X-ray irradiation by the X-ray tube when the rotation angle of the X-ray tube is determined to be within the track synchronism angle allowable range by the determination part 12a, and stopping X-ray irradiation by the X-ray tube when the rotation angle of the X-ray tube is determined not to be within the track synchronization angle allowable range by the determination part 12a. |
