The method involves forming the blocks (3-1 to n) from different format sizes of the block parts (35-1 to n). The block part of the lateral, upper or lower surface (x-1,x-2,y-1,y-2,z-1,z-2) of a forming rod is provided with a boundary surface (36'-1 to n) that is aligned with one surface of the rod. Multiple printing sheets are combined to the block. The portions of the printed sheet are cut at different length and are folded by a cyclically adjustable aligning element that is displaced transversely in the driving direction of the printed sheet. An independent claim is provided for a rod with an information carrier for the identification. |
