PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor housing for a supercharger capable of reducing the number of components and manufacturing man-hours, and capable of easily simplifying a shape of a divided piece, and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A compressor housing 1 for a supercharger comprises: an intake port 11; and a scroll chamber 12. A valve storage part 15 for storing an air bypass valve 6 is formed in a position of an intake side X1 with respect to the scroll chamber 12. The valve storage part 15 is communicated with the scroll chamber 12, and is opened to the intake side. A bypass part 16 is formed between the valve storage part 15 and the intake port 11. The compressor housing 1 includes a body piece (scroll piece 2) and a divided piece 4. The body piece includes a groove part 26 opened at the intake side and a cutout part 27 cut on the periphery of the opening side of the groove part 26. The bypass part 16 is formed by press fitting the divided piece 4 into the cutout part 27 and covering the intake side of the groove part 26. |
