PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an additive for a nonaqueous electrolyte excellent in storage stability, and, when used in an electricity storage device, such as a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery and an electric double layer capacitor, forming a stable SEI on an electrode surface, thereby capable of improving battery characteristics, such as cycle characteristics, charge/discharge capacity and internal resistance; a nonaqueous electrolyte including the additive for a nonaqueous electrolyte; and an electricity storage device including the nonaqueous electrolyte.SOLUTION: An additive for a nonaqueous electrolyte comprises a disulfonic acid amide compound represented by the following formula (1). In the formula (1), Xand Xeach independently represent a 1-6C alkylene group, or a 1-6C alkylene group having an oxygen atom, a nitrogen atom that may have a substituent, or a sulfur atom, in a carbon chain or at a chain end. A represents CHZ, m represents an integer of 1-6, n represents an integer of 0-12, and Z represents a 1-4C alkyl group, a silyl group, a phosphonate ester group, an acyl group, a cyano group or a nitro group, which may be substituted. |
