PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye excellent in solubility and heat resistance and a novel compound suitably used for the dye, particularly a yellow dye having a wavelength of maximum absorption in the range of 400-470 nm, to provide a colored (alkali developable) photosensitive composition using the dye, and further to provide an optical filter using the colored (alkali developable) photosensitive composition, particularly, a color filter which never causes reduction in luminance and is suitably used for an image display device such as a liquid crystal display panel.SOLUTION: There are provided a compound represented by general formula (1), and a colored (alkali developable) photosensitive composition containing: a dye (A) containing at least one type of the compounds represented by general formula (1); a polymerizable compound (B) having an ethylenic unsaturated bond or an alkali developable polymerizable compound (B') having an ethylenic unsaturated bond; and a photopolymerization initiator (C). |
