PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon material which is useful as a conductive material of a negative electrode active material capable of expressing excellent quick charging performance, quick discharging performance and cycle characteristics as a negative electrode material of a lithium ion secondary battery, and obtaining a high discharge capacity per volume.SOLUTION: A composite graphite particle, which is a spherical or approximately-spherical hollow particle containing a scale-like graphite particle (A) and a carbonaceous material (B) and having a cavity inside, has an average particle diameter of 5-25 μm and an average aspect ratio of ≤5. |
