A system (10) conveying material-other-than-grain (MOG) from a harvesting machine (12) to a packaging machine (14) towed by the harvesting machine. The system includes an joint (32) pivotably joining a harvesting machine hitch (34) to a packaging machine hitch (16). An accelerator (20) is mounted to the packaging machine hitch (16). The accelerator (20) has a housing (24) with a top-side inlet (26) and a side outlet (28). A MOG-propelling disk (36) is disposed in the housing (24) and is rotatable about an axis (38). A conduit (22) is disposed above the packaging machine hitch (16) and has an inlet end (30) and an outlet end (54), the inlet end (30) coupled to the side outlet (28). The conduit has first and second opposing side portions (60, 62) and a top side portion (64) without an opposing bottom portion, with at least part of the top side portion is parallel with the plane of the disk (36). The accelerator (20), conduit (22), and packaging machine (14) are collectively in pivotal arrangement relative to the harvesting machine (12). |
