PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for bonding a brass-plated wire for a hose, exhibiting good adhesiveness with the brass-plated wire and heat resistance, and to provide a hydraulic hose.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for bonding the brass-plated wire is a rubber composition for bonding a brass-plated wire-reinforced layer of the hose, and includes a diene polymer having ≤1.5 mass% content of at least one kind selected from an organic acid, a fatty acid salt and an organic acid salt, and a vulcanization accelerator, regulated so that the total content of the organic acid, the fatty acid salt and the organic acid salt may be ≤1.5 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the diene polymer, and the content of the vulcanization accelerator may be >0.1 pt.mass and ≤1.0 pt.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the diene polymer. |
