PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient chopping board for pouring a food material directly into a pot by inclining the chopping board, even in the case many stripe-shaped scratches are formed by a kitchen knife on the surface of the copping board, the sliding movements of food materials are hardly blocked by the scratches of the chopping board, and even in the case the opening of a container to receive the food material is relatively narrow, moreover, the food materials can be poured without fail into the container.SOLUTION: In a chopping board, two hinges 6 and 7 are formed, and a central plate portion 8 is formed between the hinges 6 and 7. Two movable plates 9 and 10 are hinged to the two sides of the central plate 8. The two hinges 6 and 7 are so extended at an inclination with respect to the longitudinal direction of the chopping board as to approach the same side edges from the rear ends 15 and 17 of the hinge on the rear end edge 3 of the chopping board to the front ends 16 and 18 of the hinge on the front end edge 2. |
