PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic clutch that prevents an armature from attracting a rotor again after a bridge conductor is cut.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic clutch 10 includes a power cutting-off device 50 which forcibly cuts off power supply to an electromagnetic coil 42. The power cutting-off device 50 includes a thermally-actuated member 51 which is provided on a rotor 21 and displaced above a predetermined temperature, and a bridge conductor 52 which is provided by bridging crossing a movement region of the thermally-actuated member 51 accompanying rotation of the rotor 21, and forms a part of ground wiring of the electromagnetic coil 42. The bridge conductor 52 is cut by causing the thermally-actuated member 51 to collides against the bridge conductor 52. The cutting region of the bridge conductor 52 is set at a position apart from the position where the displaced thermally-actuated member 51 collides against the bridge conductor 52. |
