[Class 80 (ii)] [Also in Group XXIX] The control valve member of the parent Specification is now additionally monitored by means operable in accordance with the speed of the prime mover. As shown, an electromagnet 51, energized by the vehicle generator or by some other engine driven by electrical means whose output is proportional to engine speed, is mounted in the spring and pressure differential operated motor 59 and co-acts with a core 55 secured to the motor diaphragm 50. The stroke of the plunger 76 to the left is now arrested by the collar 78 when the lever 90, Fig. 1 (abridged with the parent Specification only), abuts the bell-crank 124, the arrangement of the links and levers 88, 90, 124 being such as to make the subsequent solid throttle opening rotation of the crank 124 and lever 90 possible despite this fact, whilst the corresponding clutch engagement proceeds under the control of the electromagnet 51 and motor 59 only. The full-throttle bleed means of the parent Specification is dispensed with, and a passage 109 is provided to vent the chamber 40 directly to the chamber 70 when the solenoid 98 is de-energized. The electromagnet may be replaced by an engine-driven governor, connected to the diaphragm 50 by a yieldable force transmitting means.</p>
