Provided are a matching element and an ultrasonic probe including the same. The ultrasound probe includes a piezoelectric layer which mutually converts an ultrasonic wave into an electric signal, and a matching layer which is arranged on the piezoelectric layer and includes a particle-in-binder (PIB) structure where a plurality of conductive particles are mixed with a binder. One among the plurality of conductive particles includes a core and a shield which is made of a different material from the core and surrounds the surface of the core.
