FIELD: pipes.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rolling of tube stocks in three-roll screw rolling mills. Method includes profiling tail end of blank in form of truncated cone. Minimisation of pulling depth at tail end of blank and fewer defects on inner and outer surfaces of finished pipes is ensured due to that profiling tail end of blank is performed by deformation tool simultaneously with reduction of blank at three-roll screw rolling mill.EFFECT: specified direction and movement rate of deformation tool allows profiling tail end of blank in form of truncated cone of required dimensions.1 cl, 7 dwg
